Drive to Health

Quality of life is key.  We can possess all the things we desire, but without health, what do we have? Society, along with today’s food industry, has driven us in a direction that is for profit and not for health.  Hippocrates once said, “Let food be thy medicine and let medicine be thy food.”  Does this mean eat your medicine for nutrition? NO!  It means the food we eat needs to be nutritious enough to keep us healthy so our bodies can fight disease.  Reflecting on the history of mankind, we can see how our bodies are designed to function.  We eat for fuel.  The designer of your truck made it so that it runs on fuel.  You would not put water in your tank.  It is not designed to run on water and it would destroy the engine.  Well, we are the same.  We are designed to thrive on natural foods not synthetic (manmade).  Our bodies have no idea what to do with this manmade stuff, therefore it often stops running correctly.  Disease can set in when our bodies get the wrong information.  Let’s keep this in mind when it is time to eat.  Make a nutritious plan.  You can do it.

“If you fail to plan you are planning to fail.” Benjamin Franklin

Your Paradigm

Dear Drivers,

change

Your demanding job may sometimes create stressful situations that are challenging to overcome; these tough conditions are capable of causing obstacles and even road blocks! We’re aware of your wish for a fulfilling life, just like everyone else.  And pushing that truck down the road doesn’t mean that you can’t achieve great things! In fact, it’s just the opposite! You can master the secret of getting up (morning or evening) ready to conquer and explore a brand new day! It’s built into your truck driving core and can be easily sparked.  Maintaining a positive attitude and not dwelling on setbacks can be a huge factor.  Of course, none of us have 100% control of everything that comes our way.  But we can, however, choose our perceptions to life’s events and change our paradigms. What are paradigms, you ask? Paradigms are the patterns in which we think, whether right or wrong.  Choosing to not dwell on negatives and never giving up is absolutely achievable! We at Life Coach Service are here to meet you where you are and assist you on the road to success.  Remember: What you do for a living isn’t who you are, but how you do your job IS!

Stop on by or we’ll catch you on the flip side,

The challenges of professional drivers

trailors
Professional drivers have challenging lives.  How can I help?
A truck driver’s wife, home school mom, colon hydro-therapist, health and wellness coach, and lover of truth! What do these things have in common????  Me! Hi, I am Carolyn and I have a never-ending passion and gratitude to serve the fine people in the trucking industries of this world!
I want to welcome you to stay informed about the challenges that face truck drivers; in particular, the reality of professional driver’s lives, their health and families and the many issues that they routinely face and overcome.
Of course there are the obvious trucking challenges such as heavy traffic, wind, rain, snow and ice. But there are many other difficult hoops and hurdles these road warriors deal with on a daily basis that are unique to their profession. It requires a set of skills, and determination and is by no means a job for the faint at heart!
To me, truck drivers are highways unsung heroes who may have been unfairly judged, misinformed, and stereotyped.  I hope to tap into the avalanche of misinformation concerning the drivers who make good things happen in a real BIG & AWESOME way!
God bless our drivers.
So…until next time…
